An 8 week pregnant ultrasound is one of the most fascinating ultrasounds. Your baby would be approximately twenty millimeters. Every passing week, the parent would start to notice they baby taking on a more human form. Initially it would be a little strange for parents to just see a speck but as time passes by, the facial features and the organs start to form.
By the 8 week pregnant ultrasound, you should be able to see your child’s eyes, nose and ears. You would also be able to point out webbed toes and fingers. At this stage the heart is formed and it would be beating too.

It is truly an amazing experience to feel life forming inside you. By the time most mothers, complete their 8 week pregnant ultrasound, they are on an emotional roller coaster. There are a lot of hormonal changes that happen and hence pregnant women can seem to be a little emotionally challenged at times. Most women start to panic when they do not see certain signs of development by week 8.

The growth of the child depends on various factors. In some cases, the fetus development happens really fast and on the other hand, in some cases it takes a lot of time.

At this stage the lungs are formed and they start functioning too, however it would take nine whole months for the baby’s lungs to be fully developed. The brain is also developed and the nerve cells start to communicate. This is a sign that all is normal with the growth of your baby.

These are really positive signs. Just take care of your well being and you can be assured that you would have a bouncing and health baby in your arms at the end of nine months.
